Here you will find a safe, friendly, fun and caring environment for adults with learning disabilities to enjoy activities within the community and enrich their lives with new experiences and friendships.
Our main aim is to make a difference to the lives of adults with learning disabilities and their families/carers within a safe environment, through arranging well thought out, fun person-centred activities. Whilst doing so we strive to enable the people of P.A.C.E. to feel more involved and welcome in the local community.
Empowerment & Enabling – We understand peoples’ capabilities, and design activities that
everyone can take part in as independently as possible alongside our keyworker system,
goals/outcomes process.
Caring – We treat everyone with respect and kindness.
Respect & Dignity – Understanding and respecting each other’s background, culture and
behaviours.
Person Centred – Taking the time to understand the people of P.A.C.E. needs and preferences
when organising activities.
Fun & Community based – We strive to have fun and make people smile.
We are here to enable the people of P.A.C.E. to access the community and to empower them to try new activities. We pride ourselves on providing a professional, friendly and flexible service. We provide a select transport service for those that are most in need. We constantly strive to keep things fun and add new exciting activities to our weekly schedule.
There is something for everyone on our list of both regular and occasional activities.
These are run from our offices and take place out and about in the local community: -Regular activities in the local community include Ten Pin Bowling, Skittles, Golf, Cinema, Eating out, Walk’s, and Shopping. Days out include trips on a Stream Train, River Cruises, Slimbridge, Weston-Super Mare and Bristol Wild Project to name but a few.
We offer a free taster day so that you can come along, have a chat with us and meet everyone.
