Many of our activities are set in in the local community, run by local businesses and our goal is to empower our people to enrich their own lives with our support. We are looking for people who can demonstrate a positive and friendly attitude, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the people we support. We expect our staff to be understanding of individual differences, not only of the people that we support but of work colleagues and volunteers that you may work alongside.
We require all of our support workers to pass relevant DBS checks prior to their first day with us. All staff must have a full, clean driver’s licence and their own vehicle. This must be registered, taxed, insured for business use and hold a valid MOT certificate.
We encourage our staff to voice their opinions, ideas and concerns and do our best to work with these to better our business. If you have the right values, work ethic and commitment, we will support you to develop your existing strengths and gain new abilities and we feel that everyone has strengths to bring to improve our service and we are always open to new ideas. We work with these strengths, distributing responsibilities accordingly.
