Testimonials

You’re a group of unique folk who deliver old fashioned kindness to our children who need empathy for their needs and the struggles their needs bring to their lives. Meeting you all changed L’s life immeasurably. We are SO grateful. Rarely do I trust someone with our daughter’s care to deliver kindness like we would – I trust you ❤️

Congratulations, totally deserve. 🥰🎉🥳You all have created such a beautiful community where S and her friends have fun, feel safe and can be themselves! It’s brilliant ❤️

My son had a very difficult year prior to Lockdown. P.A.C.E made a huge contribution to his recovery, planning everything with us, and around his needs.  During Lockdown we appreciated P.A.C.E’s regular phone calls & the Zoom sessions.  Now, post lockdown, P.A.C.E has ensured that as a family, we are fully informed about  current risk assessments & new developments as well as being confident that our son’s needs have been carefully considered.  We’ve always felt that P.A.C.E likes to work with families and is open to comments.  P.A.C.E definitely delivers on its aim to provide a service that is ‘safe, enabling and fun’.  J’s comment: P.A.C.E is good. I miss it. Written by S&JW

I like going to P.A.C.E, meeting the guys is how I got new friends. I also made new friends at Treasure seekers. If it wasn’t for the staff, I wouldn’t have been able to make new friends and go to different places and outings. The staff are funny, nice and responsible for looking after me. I have enjoyed doing puppet shows for my group and making balloons. We have a nice new building and I love it. Written by S&JB

HP has missed P.A.C.E. It’s been a year. He has missed the routine, his mates & all the staff. P.A.C.E is one of a kind! It’s run by a wonderful group of dedicated people who make the lives of those who are not fully independent & need extra help in their daily lives. HP loves the different activities, in house & out in the community & all the staff are fun, outgoing, enthusiastic, patient & professional. Our whole family are grateful for everything you do. HP can’t wait for his routine at P.A.C.E to resume. Big THANK YOU. Written by S&HP

Dear All at P.A.C.E. The Covid outbreak came at a bad time, and unfortunately our plans for a farewell party for NK were scuppered! We never got to say our goodbyes and to thank you all for supporting NK throughout these difficult time. He has made so many friends and been able to go out and about to so many nice places with you all: Thanks for being there for him! The Covid pandemic created so many challenges for everyone, especially the special needs community, but you kept everyone safe and worked out new ways for doing things – Zoom discos were a firm favourite! Please except this cheque as a token of our appreciation for all you have done for NK. P.A.C.E. is a model of excellence. Your staff training is thorough and professional. Every team member has always given 100% and been friendly, cheerful and understanding. Throughout NK illness, we knew that NK would be well supported and protected at P.A.C.E. and when we were having trouble with NK supported living, you ensured NK was properly cared for. NK is now back with us for a week’s holiday, prior to his move to the new supported living house in Gloucester. Thank you for allowing the new carers to come in and befriend NK and observe how to best to support him. Your advise will ensure a smooth transition. Once again, thank you for the joy you have brought into NK life over these past seven years. Wishing you every success for the future. Yours Sincerely TSK….. Dated 14th March 2022.

We have always greatly valued the work P.A.C.E does and the opportunities provided. However throughout the pandemic they have gone above and beyond in the support to family. They are true professionals and ensured Covid procedures in the place to keep everyone safe. The Zoom timetable rescued HJ giving him a much needed structure and focus to the day and some fun! I cannot image how he would have survived without it. It’s also enable him to maintain him relationship with staff and friendships. The outreach work was great. HJ is so looking forward to the daily sessions resuming. Once the world starts turning again……. Written by L&HJ

AW and I would like to give our thanks to P.A.C.E. All staff are great. With the lockdown AW has been up and down in his moods. After a Zoom meeting it lifts his mood. It’s hard for him not seeing his friends and girlfriend. He misses seeing the staff too. The Zoom meetings have been his saviour. He is looking forward to getting out of lockdown and into a more normal routine with his P.A.C.E friends and staff. Thanks you P.A.C.E for being there. Written by S&AW
