JamieDirector

I began working in home care with the elderly, moved on to supported living and then one to one in the community before joining Eastbrook Day service where I met Tim.  I then moved to the enablement team in stroud.  Tim and I created P.A.C.E. in 2013. I enjoy spending time with my mum, brothers and nephews/nieces drinking nothing but lemonade and squash.  My girlfriend and I hope one day to have a small holding with a few goats and Donkeys.

I enjoy spending time with my son as well as keeping in touch with my family, I have 3 sons and 4 grandchildren living in Australia. I have several hobbies including collecting Jack Daniels, watching the mighty bombers (Aussie rules football) playing golf, darts, pool, swimming, tennis, cricket and walking my British Bull Dog ‘Frank’.

I am happily married and have four children and two Yorkshire Terriers.  My favourite times are spent organising fun activities for the people of P.A.C.E. and watching them all having a great time together and joining in! I also love spending time with my own family (there are lots of us!) enjoying new and fun experiences together.

I’ve worked in the construction industry since I was 16 years old, I studied welding and fabrication. I have been working in the plant hire industry, repairing plant equipment of all types from diggers to lawn mowers. I like to work out how things work and repair them if I can. Growing up my mum worked in care, so we spent a lot of time with her, having fun and helping. I have been thinking of a change in career for a while so came in to volunteer and loved it so took the plunge. I started working at PACE In May 2023. I enjoy spending time with my children, family, especially my three brothers, and close friends.

I have four children who are spread across the country, I live with my partner, two dogs; Isla and Hugo and two cats; Scroo and Chika. In my spare time I like to go walking around the countryside and reading in the evening to relax. I enjoy trips abroad and take these several times a year to get some summer sun!

I joined P.A.C.E. in January 2023. I live with my wife and 7-year-old son near Gloucester. My interests are country music and football; I am a season ticket holder at Cheltenham Town FC where me, my son and dad go to most weekends to watch.

I decided to join social care in 2013, something I’m so glad that I did as I have
now been working in social care for the last ten years and absolutely love it!
I have worked in both supported living and care home settings and in each have
loved helping people to achieve their aims and goals. I joined PACE in June
2024 and really relish helping everyone to get the best out of themselves. I am
married to my wife Kerry, and we have been together for 34 years, we have three
sons and two dogs. I enjoy cinema, cycling and socialising with family and
friends.

LacySupport Worker

I started working in the care sector after leaving school 20 years ago. I’ve experience in care homes and giving 1-1 support. I took a break from care and became self employed as a painter and decorator, doing this for 10 years before joining PACE as bank support. I loved PACE so much I pestered the bosses to employ me. I have a wonderful husband, two amazing sons and two French Bulldogs. In my spare time I enjoy long walks, going to the gym, spending time with family and friends. I am a very spiritual person who loves to be creative..

I am happily married and have 1 son and 3 stepchildren.  We have 2 dogs, a Spaniel, and a Labrador.  I am a very keen sportsman and enjoy playing cricket with my son. My other sport I play is golf. I have worked at P.A.C.E. since the summer of 2022. I was the main carer for my disabled Grandmother as I was growing up. My partner and I have four adult children between us. We have a gorgeous black Labrador, and we love looking after our grandpup, a golden Labrador. I love my garden and spend a lot of time keeping it up together. My main passion is growing unusual vegetables and have grown some very weird and wonderful things over the years. I love being at P.A.C.E. seeing all the guys having such a lovely time. Their laughs and smiles trigger something in me that is pure happiness.

AimeeSupport Worker

I began working at P.A.C.E. as a volunteer for work experience and I loved it so much that I’m still lucky enough to work as a support worker when I am needed. I have a passion for drama and sports and can always be heard singing my heart out. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and two Yorkshire terrier dogs, going on runs and watching movies.

Charlie – Bank Support Worker

I started at P.A.C.E. in September 2024 first as a volunteer and now as a Bank Support Worker. I am really enjoying working at P.A.C.E.  It’s a nice, fun and friendly environment.  I have just finished my BTEC course.  Long term I would like to work in the Care Sector ideally at P.A.C.E.  I have two dogs Leo and Bolt. In my spare time I love gaming and hanging out with my family and friends.

Jenni – Bank Support Worker

I have been with PACE employed as a bank staff member since the beginning of 2025. Working in care is a new sector for me but I have loved working here and gaining more skills along the way. I have 4 dogs at home; Crumble, Pickle, Bonzo and Spikey. In my free time I really enjoy doing art and anything creative, like making jewellery, candles and soaps. I also enjoy cycling, and have enjoyed using this hobby to help raise money, such as cycling across India and Bhutan for charity.

Kerry – Support Worker

I am completely new to the care sector and P.A.C.E. I became interested after my
husband Paul started working at P.A.C.E. in June 2024. I went along to a fundraising event and met all the staff and people of P.A.C.E. and I absolutely loved the ‘feel’ and vibe and seeing everyone enjoying life!   I am married to Paul, and we have three sons and a granddaughter, plus two dogs. I enjoy spending time with my family
and friends.

Katrina – Bank Support Worker

I joined the P.A.C.E. team in November 2025. My career began in the corporate world. I’ve taken time out along the way for career breaks to spend time with my two daughters and supporting my Dad with Dementia. Most recently I’ve been
volunteering in the charity sector. I wanted to make a difference to people’s lives. This is the reason I joined P.A.C.E. – giving the people of P.A.C.E. the best possible experience and keeping it fun and engaging. Outside of work I enjoy
cycling, walking and gardening and volunteering for charities.

Sam – Bank Support Worker

My name is Sam. I am a final year professional policing student at the University of Plymouth. Previously I have worked as an outdoor activity instructor where I ran activities such as climbing, kayaking and bushcraft.
